Songs in the Torah are spiritual songs that show us spiritual harmony. We all experience moments of seeing spiritual harmony, where things belong in terms of Hashem's plan for the world. When we see things fit together in a harmonious way, we have to turn our minds to Hashem and thank him "in song", this brings tremendous redemption.If Chizkiyahu had turned to song after the great redemption that he witnessed he would have been Mashiach.
We have to express our gratitude to Hashem.
